An evening at
Johanneskeller is a journey through time.
Located in the heart of Salzburg’s Old Town, inside a over 400-year-old vaulted cellar of the “Priesterhaus”, we cook fresh food every day. Personally, honestly and without much fuss. We do not follow any fancy concept – here you are surrounded by a historic atmosphere and you are welcomed by people who live their craft.

we serve
We cook fresh meals every day using regional ingredients. Besides Austrian specialities such as »Innviertler« roast pork, cheese dumplings and »Pinzgauer Kasnocken«, we serve a selection of European, seasonal dishes, including fresh pasta, rump steak, Caesar salad, fresh fish and much more.
Our menu changes frequently – let us surprise you! But don’t expect classic Schnitzel and French fries.
